How to Apply Liso Japonés

For best results, the treatment should be applied by a trained hair professional. Always evaluate the condition, texture, and previous chemical history of the hair before application.

Step 1 – Wash the Hair

Wash the hair with Anti-Residue Shampoo, preferably twice.

Do not apply conditioner, masks, creams, or other conditioning products before the treatment.

Step 2 – Dry Completely

Remove excess water with a towel and then blow-dry the hair until it is 100% dry.

Step 3 – Section and Apply Liso Japonés

Divide the hair into sections.

Working with sections approximately 2 cm thick, apply Liso Japonés evenly throughout the hair while avoiding direct contact with the scalp and roots.

Distribute the product carefully to achieve even coverage.

Step 4 – Processing Time

Allow the product to process for approximately 40 minutes.

Thick, coarse, or very curly hair may require additional processing time. Processing time should always be determined according to the condition and characteristics of the hair.

Step 5 – Blow-Dry

After the processing time is complete, blow-dry the hair again until it is 100% dry.

Step 6 – Flat Iron and Seal

Divide the hair into thin sections of approximately 1.5 cm.

Flat iron each section at a temperature between 320°F and 450°F, adjusting the temperature according to the client’s hair type, condition, and chemical history.

Pass the flat iron approximately 10–20 times per section, adjusting the number of passes according to the hair’s resistance and condition.

Proper temperature selection is essential, especially for lightened, bleached, damaged, or chemically processed hair.

Aftercare

After applying Liso Japonés, wait approximately 2–3 days before washing the hair.

For longer-lasting results, use an appropriate professional home-care routine and avoid products that may unnecessarily strip or dry the hair.
